T29: Vital synth distortion unit

Retained analysis

The distortion mode is Down Sample with a Post filter. Amount, wet/dry mix and filter cutoff/resonance/blend are separate controls. Downsampling, bit-depth reduction and clipping are distinct operations; filter position changes whether spectral shaping precedes or follows the nonlinear stage.

Documentation and visible configuration; not a new native audio test. Project observations are distinct from the source author's claims.
